Shipping policy

Pricing policy:

All prices are shown in DKK.

All prices include Danish VAT of 25% on orders to Europe. On orders for delivery outside of Europe, the price is without any VAT.

Orders may be subjected to local taxes and/or import duties at your own expense.


The goods:

The goods are all handmade with great care, and as a consequence each one is unique with slight variations to be expected. The same goes for goods containing stones, as these are a product of nature.



We accept payment by Visa, Visa Electron, Mastercard & Maestro. We will pay for any transaction fee from the payment collector, but the customer will have to pay any eventual other fees from their card provider.

The amount for your order will not be charged until your order has been shipped.


Order confirmation:

You will receive an order confirmation by e-mail shortly after placing your order.

On rare occasions an item can be out of stock, in which case you will be informed by e-mail as soon as possible.


Shipping and handling:

Your order will be dispatched within 1-2 working days from the time you place your order.

Orders are not shipped on weekends and holidays.

Some delays can occur during busy periods and Danish public holidays.


Shipping in Denmark:

Regardless of the volume of the order, the delivery fee will be covered by Maxwell Pontail.

Danish orders will be delivered within 3-5 days from the day you received your shipping confirmation.


International shipping:

Regardless of the volume of the order, the delivery fee will be covered by Maxwell Pontail.

International orders will be delivered within 5-10 days from the day you received your shipping confirmation.

Maxwell Pontail cannot be held liable for any delays with the shipping company or local customs.


Return & exchange:

Maxwell Pontail gladly accepts returns and offers you 30 days of return from the date on which you receive the order.

Please inform us by e-mail on You should specifically state, that you want to use your right to return the good. You will recieve confirmation and instructions about how to return the goods. 



Goods must be returned unused and in same condition as when received. That means that you will be able to try on the product in the same way, as if you were trying it in a physical store. When trying on jewellery, please wash your hands to avoid transferring oil or dirt to the product.

Once we have received the goods and accepted the return, we will transfer the amount to your account.

We will refund your amount to the credit card on which the goods were purchased. This is to prevent illegal use of stolen credit cards.

Item availability:

Although we aim to keep the website as accurate and updated in all respects, we cannot guarantee that all available products at Maxwell Pontail shop is in stock when your order is processed.

In case of out of stock items or misleading information that affects your order, we will contact you as soon as we are aware of this via e-mail and give you the opportunity to revise or cancel your order.



All products are covered by the Danish law for Sale of Goods, giving you 24 months to complain about an item.

This does not include defects caused by improper use, faulty maintenance or general wear.

In case of a complaint or a missing delivery, please contact including your order number, images of the claim and a description.

The costs of return will be covered by Maxwell Pontail to a reasonable degree.

All personal information stored in connection with use of the website and webshop will be treated with utmost care. The information we store will not be sold or used for any other purpose than to make sure you get the best possible service.

For security reasons, no payment information is kept in our database.
